Ecolandia Park

The Ecolandia Park in Reggio Calabria is a unique technological and environmental playground. The idea was born in the 1990s, but the Ecolandia Park became fully usable and active in 2011. It is located in Arghillà, on a hillock to the north of Reggio Calabria, from which it is possible to admire the panorama of the Strait of Messina, and consists of various routes: a play area for children, attractions and educational installations that allow for experimentation activities in various fields from technology to ecological practice. Structurally, the Ecolandia Park is divided into four areas inspired by the elements of nature and Greek mythology, the references to which are also the leitmotif of the equipped theme trails. The Ecolandia Park also has areas for cultural activities, events and shows, such as the 800-seat amphitheatre and the refreshment and entertainment areas.
