Church of the Santissima Annunziata

Place of worship
Built in 1535 at the behest of Charles V during his stay in Tropea, it presents a Gothic style, although the first building are only a few remains: the perimeter walls, the triumphal arch and the cruise of the choir. Especially the interior, above the main altar is placed the marble group of the Annunciation, built in 500; another nice piece of the author is the fresco depicting the Christ's scourging, dating back to 1644 and painted by Didacus Neapolitanus.
