Place of worship

The Church of St Michael Archangel, better known as the Purgatory's Church , is a nineteenth century building that overlooks St. Michael's Square, at the beginning of Vittorio Emanuele III Course. The Church has a single nave, with a square presbytery separated from the nave by a triumphal arch and the roof ceiling plan. The facade, in Neoclassical style, has a bell tower dating back to 1877. The need to build this new Church was to give a new home to the ancient St. Michael and the Souls of Purgatory's brotherhood.
