Church of San Giuseppe

Place of worship
From Largo Mercato it leads to the Church of St Joseph, building a nave with a barrel vault. Built for the Brotherhood of Carpenters on the site where once stood the apse of the St. Dominic's Church, was built to allow for subsequent enlargement of the rectory, it never realized. The Church had to develop on a level lower than that of the nearby St. Catherine's Church, in order to allow, in the back, the building of the rectory itself. Inside it is preserved five paintings of Grimaldi, tropeano painter of '700, an altar flanked by wooden seats of great value and an organ with 14 barrels of the nineteenth century.
