Carpino Bay: where it is
Carpino Bay is a secluded and picturesque beach along the beautiful Riviera dei Cedri. We are near Scalea, one of the oldest towns on the Tyrrhenian coast, which preserves the beauty of its historic centre, perched on a hill facing the sea. To discover the bay, you have to travel about two kilometres from the town of Scalea, but it is not difficult to reach as you can drive close to the beach and park there. The beauty of this place, at the foot of the Pollino National Park, surrounded by cliffs and protected by mountains, is immediately striking. This is why Carpino Bay is chosen by those who do not like crowded, chaotic, noisy beaches. Nature and relaxation: here you will find everything you need for a rejuvenating holiday and to rediscover the most authentic side of the Riviera dei Cedri.
Carpino Bay beach
This beach is characterised by numerous coves and inlets surrounded by cliffs and the typical colours of the Mediterranean scrub. The sand is pebbly and grey, contrasting with the changing colours of the sea, which range from light blue to blue, crystal clear and limpid. A portion of Carpino Bay beach is reserved for resort guests, but most of the beach is free. Even in the summer months, you can find a quiet, secluded spot, but in June and September in particular, this place offers magical scenery and atmospheres, where it is easy to feel like a privileged visitor. The beach is easily accessible and particularly appreciated by those who want to enjoy the sun, sea and nature, away from the stretches of coastline besieged by tourists or occupied by crowded beach establishments.
