The "Calabria Land of Fathers" tour starts

The tour of Calabria Land of the Fathers, the territorial marketing project of the Calabria Region managed by Fincalabra and aimed at enhancing tourism of the roots and the internationalisation of the regional production system, has started. It is called "We, Calabria Land of Fathers", the tour that includes five events in the regional provinces; starting with Crotone, where the first event will be held on 17 October from 5 to 7.30 p.m. in the hall of the Palazzo della Provincia. The events, organised in cooperation and under the patronage of the provincial administrations, will be held during the month of October: in Vibo Valentia on the 20th, in Cosenza on the 24th, in Catanzaro on the 27th, and in the first half of November in Reggio Calabria. The aim is to involve municipalities, citizens and local actors in the initiative, who can take part in the project network by filling in the appropriate form at www.terradeipadricalabria.it. The adhesion of the municipalities and territorial actors to the project will enable them to become active participants in the local definition of the new tourism product and the guidelines of the programme for welcoming Calabrians back to the area. Guests during the first day of promotion will be Fincalabra President Alessandro Zanfino, Crotone Province President Sergio Ferrari, and Councillor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Mobility Fausto Orsomarso. Each event includes a presentation of the "Calabria Land of Fathers" project, a moment dedicated to dialogue and listening to citizens and a networking moment to foster mutual understanding and adherence to the initiatives.
