Guided tour of Reggio Calabria and Archaeological Museum
A journey through millennial history, contemporary art and breathtaking views
Art and Culture
Myths, legends, history, tradition and folklore intertwine in a single city: Reggio Calabria.
City of the legendary Riace Bronzes and the evocative Morgana fairy, Reggio Calabria offers a unique view of Sicily, with the majestic smoking Etna dominating the horizon along what Gabriele D'Annunzio called ‘’the most beautiful kilometre in Italy‘’.
This 3-hour tour will take you on a discovery of one of Calabria's richest cities in history and culture. We will visit the National Archaeological Museum, guardian of the famous Riace Bronzes, and then continue along the scenic Via Marina, the lively Corso Garibaldi and the majestic Cathedral of Maria SS. Assunta.
Along the way we will explore not only the historical points of interest, but also contemporary works of art, such as the creations of Tre Soldi and Rabarama, which make Reggio Calabria a city in constant dialogue between past and present.
