Towards New Year's Eve

On 31 December 2024, Platì, a corner of Calabria rich in tradition and folklore, is preparing to experience a special New Year's Eve, immersed in the magic of the Christmas festivities. The village squares will resound with traditional Christmas melodies and songs, telling stories of a distant past, made up of emotions and deep ties with the land.

The voices of the choirs will join the notes of bagpipes and accordions, creating an enthralling atmosphere. The songs, often accompanied by folk dances, tell of shepherds, lights and hope, evoking a sense of community and conviviality that marks the essence of the festivities.
