"Torno giù"

‘Torno giù’ is an innovative format that overturns the classic canons of events and manifestations, placing young people at the centre. The initiative, which will be held on Friday 6 September 2024 in Vena di Ionadi, opens with a public agora entitled ‘Now the young speak’. In this space, young people who, for study and/or work reasons, have left their homeland to head for different destinations, will have the opportunity to express themselves and be heard by authorities and institutions.

Through an open and free discussion, boys and girls will be the protagonists of an authentic and frank confrontation on the issue of depopulation. The decision-makers and all the other institutions present will thus be able to listen to the stories of those who have left, the hopes and proposals of those who would like to return, but also the anger of those who will never return.

The evening will end with a live performance by Lodo Guenzi, the well-known singer of ‘Lo Stato Sociale’, and a DJ Set dedicated to young people.
