One of the most heartfelt symbols of the Christmas season returns to Girifalco: the fifth edition of "The thread that unites – The crochet tree". A shared project, born years ago and grown thanks to the creativity and collaboration of the community, featuring a large tree made entirely from crochet work produced over time and enriched by this year's new creations.
The lighting of the tree represents a moment of unity and participation, a simple gesture that embodies the value of tradition and the bond between people. It is an opportunity to come together and celebrate one of the town's most distinctive rituals.
The event will take place on 7 December 2025 on Corso Roma, where the warmth of Christmas will take shape through colours, weaves and the commitment of those who, with their own hands, have created a shared symbol.
