On Saturday 10 January 2026, at 9:00 p.m., the Cilea Theatre in Reggio Calabria will host Swan Lake, the famous ballet by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky with choreography by Marius Petipa, performed by the Russian Classical Ballet.
Considered an icon of 19th-century classical ballet, the show tells a story of love, betrayal and the triumph of good over evil, between the purity of the White Swan and the darkness of the Black Swan. Moments of great scenic impact, such as the two 'Grand Pas de Deux' and the famous 'Dance of the Little Swans', highlight the virtuosity and drama of the soloists.
The production, enriched by sumptuous sets and refined costumes, features dancers who graduated from the most prestigious Russian schools and come from the leading companies in Moscow, St Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Perm.
