From 14 to 22 December 2024, the historic centre of Belvedere Marittimo is transformed into an enchanted place to host the event ‘The Magic of the Village during Christmas’. Piazza Amellino, with its timeless charm, becomes the beating heart of four days dedicated to entertainment, tradition, and Calabrian culture.
Designed for young and old, the event celebrates the cultural roots of Calabria with activities ranging from writing letters to Father Christmas to puppet shows, evoking the imagery of the Christmas festivities. Creative workshops, Christmas make-up and balloon sculptures offer moments of entertainment and involvement, while performances by local artists enrich the atmosphere with magic and authenticity.
There will also be a taste of tradition with tastings of typical Calabrian products, sweet delicacies and an area dedicated to local handicrafts. Artificial snow, special guests, and the many initiatives designed for families will create a unique atmosphere, making this event a perfect occasion to experience Christmas together and rediscover the value of folklore and togetherness.
