In the heart of the Pollino National Park, in the small town of Laino Borgo (CS), the Giudaica takes place every year. It is the living representation of the Passion of Christ, from the Last Supper to the deposition, passing through the most significant moments: 19 scenes in total with more than 150 participants.
The village becomes the location for a unique event in which faith, tradition and spirituality are perfectly blended. The performance is an identity marker rooted in the history of the community, which has led to Laino Borgo being renamed "Jerusalem of the South".
The event takes place on Holy Friday, which this year will be on 7 April 2023.
