The deception of Tecne

On 27 September 2025, at the Palazzo della Cultura in Pizzo, the Graecalis Association presents 'The Deception of Tecne – Recited Reflections on the Idea of Progress', a special event within the Festival of Thought – Man and Technology, promoted by the Il Cenacolo degli Inquieti association.

The show offers a series of recited reflections inspired by Greek thought on tecne, between fascination and deception, progress and consequences. The myth of Prometheus, also evoked by Rubens' famous painting 'Prometheus Bound', becomes a powerful metaphor for the complex relationship between man and technology.
