The Caccuri Literary Prize in Italy's Most Beautiful Villages
Two cultural events combining literature, history, and live entertainment

Prizes and Competitions
As part of the Caccuri Literary Prize, now in its 14th edition, two special events will be held combining literature, history, and live entertainment, offering the public a high-quality cultural experience in the charming historic centers of Cleto and Bova.
The main protagonist of the event is Giordano Bruno Guerri, a nationally renowned historian and essayist, who will present his latest work "Benito, storia di un italiano" (Benito, story of an Italian), published by Rizzoli. The meeting with the author will be conducted by Franco Laratta, director of LacTv, in a dialogue that promises to be rich in historical insights and reflections. Guerri's work represents a significant contribution to the understanding of one of the most complex periods in 20th-century Italian history.
Alongside the literary presentation, the program includes “Il Viaggio dei Bronzi di Riace” (The Journey of the Riace Bronzes), a multidisciplinary show that combines theater and music to tell the extraordinary story of these masterpieces of ancient art.
The first stop will take place on Friday, August 1, at 6:30 p.m. in the historic center of Cleto, in the province of Cosenza, a village that offers an authentic and evocative atmosphere to host this important cultural event. The second date is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, again at 6:30 p.m., in the historic center of Bova, in the province of Reggio Calabria, a town that is one of the jewels of the Grecanica area of Calabria.
The event is an ideal opportunity to discover or rediscover two of Calabria's most charming villages, combining the pleasure of learning with the discovery of the territory.
