From 1 to 3 August 2025, Montauro will be decked out in blue to host the fifth edition of “The Blue Night”, an event celebrating the maritime identity of this Ionian village and its local fish, with a special focus on anchovies, the undisputed stars of Calabrian cuisine.
Three days filled with live music, shows, workshops, and tastings, designed to promote locally sourced blue fish, highlighting the knowledge and flavors linked to the area's maritime culinary tradition. Strolling along the Montauro seafront, among stalls, artistic performances, and scents that mingle with the sea breeze, visitors can discover ancient recipes handed down from generation to generation, participate in themed gastronomic events, and enjoy live music that will provide the soundtrack for each evening.
