As part of the 2025/2026 Theater Season, the Filadelfia Municipal Auditorium will host I Promessi Sposi – Providence Providence Providence, a stage adaptation by KanterStrasse. This production reinterprets Manzoni's famous novel through a visual language inspired by black-and-white graphic novels.
The production balances irony and reflection while maintaining the theme of individual and collective responsibility, striking a chord between fidelity to the original text and contemporary reinterpretation. The show stars Daniele Bonaiuti, Lorenza Guerrini, Simone Martini, and Alessio Martinoli, with direction and dramaturgy by Simone Martini.
Recommended for ages 11 and up, the show offers a fresh take on a classic of Italian literature, making it accessible to both young and adult audiences.
