The Barber of Seville

Great opera under the open sky is back in the heart of Cosenza: on Thursday 17 July 2025, at 21:00, the suggestive Rendano Arena in Piazza XV Marzo will host Gioachino Rossini's ‘’The Barber of Seville‘’, one of the most brilliant and beloved masterpieces of the Italian opera repertoire.

In a summer setting full of atmosphere, the Brutia Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Nicola Marasco, and the ‘F. Cilea’ Opera Chorus, under the direction of Maestro Bruno Tirotta, will stage the famous opera buffa in two acts, giving the audience an evening full of rhythm, irony and unforgettable melodies.
