Sustarìa Festival 2023

Sustarìa Festival is a project, born in the summer of 2020, that takes place in Lago, a small village in the province of Cosenza located in the hinterland of the Tyrrhenian coast of Calabria. This year the festival reaches its fourth edition with meetings, workshops, musical performances and convivial lunches, from 2 to 5 August 2023.

On the 2 and 3 August, Sustarìa hosts Frappp, a travelling film festival conceived by the Mobile Fringes collective. Organised by Frappp, there will be a mural-making workshop and open-air cinema with a film and documentary review for all ages.

A handmade pasta workshop in the morning of Friday 4 August, in the afternoon a meeting with practical activities on the Calabrian lyre. In the evening, the musical encounter between China and Calabria "Concert on the Silk Road".

The festival will end with a popular lunch on Saturday 5 August based on "sagna", the traditional baked pasta prepared for the feast of the Madonna dei Monti.
