On Sunday 21 September 2025, Spilinga will join squares across Italy in celebrating "Sunday Lunch", an initiative promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Culture and ANCI, with the support of RTL 102.5, to promote the nomination of Italian cuisine as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The hamlet of Carciadi will become the heart of a large collective event, where citizens, families, associations, chefs and restaurateurs will gather to share the pleasure of Sunday lunch in a spirit of tradition and conviviality.
From 12:00 to 16:00, Piazza Ferdinando Pontoriero and Via della Liberazione will host this celebration, dedicated to celebrating Italian cuisine not only as food, but as culture, identity, memory and sociality, a link between generations and territory.
