Summer in Blue – Sea Festival

On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the Giorgio Perlasca seafront in Santa Maria del Cedro will host "Estate in Blu 2025 – Festival del Mare" (Summer in Blue 2025 – Sea Festival), an event dedicated to the Blue Flag and designed to celebrate summer with a free evening open to all, featuring street art, music, and entertainment.

Promoted by the Municipality of Santa Maria del Cedro with the support of the Calabria Region, the initiative was created with the aim of promoting the territory and the environmental quality of its coasts, recognized nationally with the prestigious Blue Flag award.

The program will begin at 8:00 p.m. with the official opening by the Besidias, the flag throwers of Bisignano, who will bring an explosion of color, rhythm, and tradition to the seafront. Starting at 9:30 p.m., the seafront will come alive with performances by street artists and jugglers, culminating in the grand parade of the Trampolieri Alati, who will transform the entire seafront into an evocative traveling art gallery.

At 11:00 p.m., the amphitheater of the Giardini del Mare will host the "Cerchio Aereo nel Cielo Blu" (Air Circle in the Blue Sky), an acrobatic performance suspended between sky and sea, offering the audience an exciting and visually stunning show. The evening will end at 11:45 p.m. with a grand pyromusical show, which will light up the night of Santa Maria del Cedro with light, sound, and colors reflected on the sea.
