From 6 to 8 December 2024, the picturesque area of the Pollino National Park will host Slow Beans, Slow Food's annual event dedicated to the culture of legumes. Local and international producers from France, Germany, Spain, Poland and Turkey will gather in the municipalities of Mormanno, Laino Borgo and Laino Castello to celebrate legumes not only as a food but as a symbol of sustainable change.

This edition, realised with the support of the Leguminosa Community and the Fagiolo Poverello Bianco presidium, will offer a unique opportunity to learn more about cultivation techniques, exchange best practices and reflect on the power of food as a tool for political and environmental change.

The event will include moments of discussion between producers, chefs and enthusiasts, along with thematic workshops and tastings dedicated to local legumes, to raise awareness of the value of sustainable production that affects the wellbeing of communities. An unmissable event for those who want to discover a world of authentic and sustainable flavours.
