Workshops, show cooking and music to celebrate the sea of Sibari

Everything is ready in Sibari for the Sea Festival, an event designed to celebrate the beauty of our territory and maritime culture in all its forms. The day will begin at 9:00 am in Lattughelle, where the children of the Lauropoli Comprehensive School will take part in creative and educational workshops, including games and activities designed to teach them about the sea and its wonders.
In the afternoon, at 5:30 pm, the Museo del Mare will host a conference dedicated to the protection of the sea, with talks on environmental issues and practices for safeguarding marine ecosystems. Immediately afterwards, the students of the Istituto Alberghiero 'Erodoto di Thurii' will stage a cooking show dedicated to the flavours of local tradition, featuring seafood dishes and culinary creativity.
The day will end at 9:00 pm with lots of music and fun: the Dance Tarantella will get young and old dancing with a mix of folk tradition and electronic sounds, celebrating the sea in joy.
