Santa Severina Wine Fest 2023

The Santa Severina Wine Fest 2023, scheduled for Saturday 30 December and now in its second edition, is a vehicle for promoting tourism and enhancing the territory. The event will be held inside the Santa Severina Castle, a stage of rare beauty overlooking a scenery that ranges from the Sila mountains to the Ionian Sea.

The Municipal Administration strongly believes that the identity of the village, to be experienced all year round, is well told above all by the dishes that we have been bringing to the table for generations, based on typical, genuine and zero-kilometre products that sea and land offer, and prepared according to recipes whose origins are lost in the mists of time. Wine and food are combined in turn through a pathway of tastes, flavours and smells that unfailingly remain imprinted in our memory and enhance the result.

Wine Fest 2023 will maintain the same philosophy as the previous edition, to make the local and national wine culture known. The event will include a number of activities distributed throughout the day, a pathway that will lead to the knowledge of the aromas of wine and will involve several wineries with tasting counters that will crown the space dedicated to the event, in which it will be possible to taste wines, get to know the wineries and admire the artistic heritage of Santa Severina. Art and wine meet to enhance their importance and develop an educational path made of knowledge and values handed down by our history and tradition.
