San Martino in the village

Antonimina is preparing to celebrate local traditions and flavours with the third edition of ‘San Martino in Paese’, an event that will be held from 8 to 10 November 2024. This unmissable event offers a rich programme of activities for all ages, immersed in the heart of Calabrian culture.

Friday 8 November

• 17:00: Inauguration of the Oil Museum in Via Umberto I. Discover the history and traditional techniques involved in oil production.
• 5.30 p.m.: Conference on ‘Agricoltura di Resilienza’ (Agriculture of Resilience ) in collaboration with GAL Terre Locridee, with an exhibition of typical products from local companies.

Saturday 9 November

• 09:00: Guided excursion Discovering the Antonimino olive groves in collaboration with the Boschetto Fiorito Association. Departure from Piazza Littorio.

Sunday 10 November

• 20:00: Tasting evening with fritters, zeppole and chestnuts accompanied by new wine. The square will come alive with traditional music and dancing by Andrea Bressi Cantustorie and the Giambariani, with the special participation of Wlady Nigro of Calabria Food Porn.

During all the days of the event, it will be possible to visit the exhibition of agricultural vehicles.
