Rovito InCanto Festival

The Municipal Theatre of Rovito is preparing to host the first edition of the Rovito InCanto Festival, an event dedicated to opera singing and great music, with four unmissable events from February to May. An opportunity to immerse oneself in the elegance of the musical tradition, thanks to the performance of highly talented artists.

It starts on Sunday 16 February with ‘Spazio d'oltremare’, an evening tribute to Ennio Morricone, in which singers, actors and musicians will give new life to his famous soundtracks. On 9 March, it will be time for ‘Accarezzame’, a tribute to Neapolitan song, with a refined project for string quintet, guitar and piano conducted by Maestro Francesco Perri. On 13 April, M° Andrea Bauleo (piano) and M° Stefano Tanzillo (tenor) will bring to the stage an emotional journey between lieder and opera. The festival will end on Friday 9 May, in an evening event, with the Bel Canto Ensemble, a quartet of wind, piano and (soprano) voice, which will perform the most famous opera arias.
