Art, music and theatre light up the summer in Reggio Calabria

From 19 to 21 July 2025, Reggio Calabria will be transformed into a large open-air stage with Piazza del Popolo: Art, Music and Theatre, an event included in the ReggioFest2025 – Diffused Culture project, promoted by the Municipality in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture.
An innovative format, conceived and directed by Ruggero Pegna and produced by Show Net srl, which will bring three spectacular evenings to the heart of the city, featuring major concerts, urban theatre and live entertainment, involving audiences of all ages. The programme:
19 July – Stefano Bollani Quintet
One of the most eagerly awaited musical events of the Calabrian summer: on stage, the famous pianist Stefano Bollani together with an exceptional quintet formed by Jeff Ballard, Larry Grenadier, Vincent Peirani and Mauro Refosco. An evening dedicated to international jazz and musical experimentation.
20 July – La Festa del Sole con Fuoco (Compagnia dei Folli)
Free show with open access. A visually stunning pyrotechnic event: acrobatics, dance, fire, stilts and mythology come together to offer an immersive and evocative experience, featuring legendary figures and timeless tales.
21 July – Stefano De Martino in 'Meglio Stasera'
The multifaceted Neapolitan artist brings to the stage a thrilling show of music, dance, monologues and irony. He is joined on stage by the Disperata Erotica Band and a dance troupe for an elegant, rhythmic and engaging show.
All events start at 9.30 p.m. The live performances by Bollani and De Martino are subject to a fee, while Fuoco is free to attend.
