Radici: the catalogue of the photographic exhibition

On August 3, 2025, starting at 9:30 p.m., Piazza Duomo in Mandatoriccio will be the setting for an evening dedicated to memory, identity, and the evocative power of photography, as part of the festival “Risvegli – Domande nuove al passato per valorizzare il presente” (Awakening – New questions about the past to enhance the present).
During the event, the catalog of the exhibition Radici (Roots), published by FuoriAsse Edizioni, will be presented. It collects images and reflections on the value of memory and the role of photography in collective narration. The volume offers a journey that intertwines visual testimonies and critical perspectives, providing food for thought on the themes of transformation, rebirth, and the relationship between the individual, the community, and the territory.
The evening, curated by Cooperativa Letteraria, will be enriched by moments of discussion and debate with guests from the academic, cultural, and institutional worlds, who will speak to explore the link between image and memory, between past and present.
The initiative is part of the festival program as an opportunity for dialogue and sharing, in an evocative context that combines art, research, and public participation.
