Potenzoni Flower Festival

The historic Potenzoni Flower Festival takes place every year in the hamlet of the same name in the municipality of Briatico (VV), on the days of Corpus Christi.

For the occasion, the small urban centre is divided into four districts, Agave, Glicine, Torre and Chiesa, each of which competes with the others in a battle of petals and carpets of flowers. A riot of colours and scents that makes the Potenzoni Flower Festival one of the most eagerly awaited events of early summer along the Costa degli Dei.

Each district embellishes its space by creating sacred-themed flower carpets and a series of altars in honour of Corpus. Local master flower decorators are awarded prizes based on the preferences expressed by visitors.

As is customary, the Potenzoni Flower Festival ends with a sweet buffet and a convivial moment to share with the whole community.
