On 26 September 2025, the Porto Santa Venere Award ceremony, promoted by the Pro Loco of Vibo Marina, will be held in the Aula Magna of the Vespucci-Murmura Institute in Vibo Valentia. This event was created to celebrate and reward institutions, organisations, associations and citizens who, with commitment and dedication, have contributed to the cultural, social and economic growth of the community and its port.
The award is intended as a sign of gratitude to those who protect local identity, promote the environmental and cultural heritage of the area, strengthen the sense of belonging and enhance ties with the younger generations. It is a recognition of those who excel in welcoming tourists, in solidarity, in integration and in education for civil coexistence and legality, keeping alive the relationship with the community and with the school that trained them.
The evening will be made even more special by a performance by the "Port and Sea Fanfare", which will accompany this moment of sharing and pride for Vibo Marina.
