Open Cellars - Murace Wines

The beauty of Calabrian vineyards and the authentic taste of local wines await you for an unforgettable wine tourism experience! On Sunday 25 May 2025, a journey through the rows of vines of the Murace Wines company, immersed in the evocative landscapes of Bivongi, will lead you to discover Bivongi DOC, a wine with a unique character, the fruit of tradition and passion.

The tour will begin at 4.30 p.m. with an exciting excursion in the vineyard aboard an off-road vehicle, where participants will be able to immerse themselves in the beauty of the rows of vines and discover the secrets of local viticulture. During the educational walk, experts will guide visitors to discover the characteristics of Bivongi DOC, illustrating cultivation techniques and the history of this extraordinary wine.

This will be followed by a visit to the evocative Orthodox Monastery of San Giovanni Therestis, a place steeped in spirituality and tradition, perfect for deepening the link between culture and territory.

After the visit to the monastery, the group will return to the winery for a special moment: a guided tasting of wines from the Cosimo Murace Winery, accompanied by a selection of local gastronomic delicacies. This will be an opportunity to savour the authentic scents and flavours of Calabria, in a convivial and welcoming atmosphere.
