Nikolai Lugansky in concert

On 21 November 2025, the Grandinetti Theatre in Lamezia Terme welcomes Nikolai Lugansky, an internationally renowned pianist described by the Daily Telegraph as "a pianist of overwhelming sensitivity, who showcases not himself but the music". An evening dedicated to the interpretative elegance and depth of one of the most acclaimed artists on the world stage.

The concert offers a fascinating journey through some of the most iconic pieces in the piano repertoire: from Beethoven's Sonata No. 17 'The Tempest' to the narrative atmospheres of Schumann's Vienna Carnival and the impressionistic evocations of Debussy's Estampes. The concert concludes with two piano transcriptions from the Wagnerian universe, for an intense and evocative finale: the Entrance of the Gods into Valhalla and the famous Liebestod from Tristan and Isolde.
