Original music, magical atmospheres and iconic scenery of the Cosenza Tyrrhenian coast: Scalea welcomes back “Night Notes”, the music festival that combines the charm of historic locations with the evocative sounds of jazz, tango and international original music. Three unmissable events will enliven the evenings (and more) of summer 2025:
Monday 21 July – Cortile Palazzo dei Principi, 10 p.m.
The festival will open with a concert by Geoff Westley, a refined dialogue between piano, accordion and double bass. On stage, together with Geoff Westley (piano), Salvatore Cauteruccio (accordion) and Sasà Calabrese (double bass), for an evening of great musical intensity.
Thursday 14 August – Torre Talao, 5.30 a.m.
A unique event: “L'alba dentro l'imbrunire – Sud Tango”, a concert between the first light of day and the ancient walls of the tower, with the warm sounds of Cauteruccio's accordion, Enzo Campagna's guitar, Roberto Musolino's bass and Francesco Montebello's percussion.
Friday 22 August – Largo San Nicola in Plateis, 10 p.m.
Eric Daniel, Fiato e Mantice: the encounter between Eric Daniel's captivating saxophone and Salvatore Cauteruccio's accordion promises an evening of intense and enveloping sounds, between jazz influences and original improvisations.
