Nuovi Radicamenti is a project that recounts the old and new emigration that has affected the 18 Calabrian municipalities that have joined together to form a network, to allow travellers to reconnect with their origins and, at the same time, enhance the unique natural and cultural heritage of the whole of Calabria.

"Nuovi Radicamenti" offers tools that allow root travellers to return fully to their place of origin, to reconnect in a total way with a history, broken by so many departures. From July to September, "Nuovi Radicamenti" will run through 18 stages for as many dedicated events, plus a launch event for the entire project scheduled to take place in Badolato on 6 July 2024 and a closing event organised in Brognaturo on 22 September 2024, which will be attended by all 18 municipalities promoting the project. The 'ribbon cutting' is planned in Badolato, therefore, at the Council Chamber of the municipality, at 6.30 p.m. on 6 July 2024.

Therefore, Nuovi Radicamenti is set up as an aggregate form to foster the competitive repositioning of attractive destinations through the integrated valorisation of resources of territorial competence. Sea, mountains and hills outline different scenarios, places that are not simply 'typical' destinations, but living witnesses of the histories and traditions shaped by many generations. The aim is to create a journey in which every step reveals legends, stories, traditions, ancient migrant routes.
