Nativity Scene Exhibition

In Cittanova, Christmas is celebrated through one of its most authentic expressions: the nativity scene. From 5 December 2025 to 6 January 2026, the Church of San Rocco will host the Nativity Scene Exhibition, an event dedicated to creativity and collective memory.

The initiative offers a real art competition open to everyone, with free participation and cash prizes. The programme includes an in-depth look at the history of the nativity scene and its creation in Calabria and the Gioia Tauro Plain, curated by Don Letterio Festa, scheduled for 5 December 2025 at 4 p.m. The award ceremony will be held on 6 January 2026 at 4 p.m.
