National Stockfish Festival in Cittanova

On 12 August 2025, Cittanova will once again light up the summer with one of the most eagerly awaited events of the season: the National Stockfish Festival, now in its 24th edition. A celebration that combines gastronomy, Calabrian identity and great music, for an evening that attracts thousands of visitors every year.

The star of the show is stockfish, a symbol of traditional Cittanova cuisine, featured in typical recipes handed down through generations. The streets of the town centre will be filled with food stands, tastings, traditional dishes and the warm atmosphere of a popular festival that celebrates roots, flavours and conviviality.
