MusicAma Calabria | Ray Gelato & The Giants

On December 6, 2025, the Teatro Grandinetti Comunale in Lamezia Terme will host Ray Gelato & The Giants, exclusively for AMA Calabria, as part of the program for the 48th MusicAMA Calabria. Known as “The Godfather of Swing” , Ray Gelato brings his unique style, combining swing, jazz, and R&B, to the stage in a high-energy concert that captivates audiences of all ages.

Born in London, Gelato began his career in 1988 and has since performed at major international festivals and clubs, including the Birdland and the Lincoln Center in New York, the Blue Note in Milan, and the historic Umbria Jazz festival. His band, The Giants, renowned for the precision and elegance of its wind section, accompanies Gelato in highly successful performances, with numerous songs also used in films and television series.
