Music & Cinema at the Politeama Theatre

The 2024/2025 season of Catanzaro's Politeama Theatre is dressed in emotion and magic with the ‘’Music & Cinema‘’ review, curated by the Superintendent Antonietta Santacroce. A calendar full of extraordinary events combining the suggestions of great music and the enchantment of cinema.

The unmissable appointments:

• 23 December 2024, 9 pm | Christmas Gospel Concert with Anthony Morgan's Inspirational Choir of Harlem, an evening anticipating Christmas with the extraordinary voices of gospel.
• 16 and 17 January 2025 | The Epic of Cinema and the Magic of Notes, a retrospective dedicated to Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone.
• 18 January 2025, 21:00 | Morricone conducts Morricone
  The Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra, conducted by Andrea Morricone, with soprano Vittoriana De Amicis, will pay tribute to the immortal music of Maestro Ennio Morricone.
• 23 January 2025, 9 p.m. | Carlo Buccirosso in Il vedovo allegro.
• 22 February 2025, 9 p.m. | Peppe Barra celebrates his 80th birthday with the concert-event Un'età certa.
• 26 March 2025, 21:00 | Arturo Brachetti will enchant audiences with the show Solo. The Legend of Quick-change.
• 29 March 2025, 21:00 | Stefano Bollani in Piano Solo, a unique performance in Calabria.
• 9 May 2025, 21:00 | Beyond Space from E.T. to Star Wars, a tribute to John Williams with the Orchestra Filarmonica della Calabria and the students of the Scuola del Teatro Politeama, conducted by Filippo Arlia.
