Medieval festival

The beautiful Medieval Festival returns to the village of Santa Severina on Wednesday 1 May 2024. The event is organised by the municipality of Santa Severina in cooperation with the Pro Loco Siberene. 

The programme includes a mix of historical theatre, living history, medieval music, fights, food and wine, a medieval market, dances and games to give the public a chance to appreciate the historical, cultural and folklore heritage of the village of Santa Severina. Definitely not to be missed is the Medieval Market with ceramics, weapons, armour, ornaments and the exhibition of torture instruments. Many workshops, such as the executioner's workshop and the archery workshop. Very impressive are the re-enactments of duels between warriors, oaths between Knights Templar and medieval dances.
