Matrioska Music Festival

A new cultural season is coming to life in Belvedere Marittimo that promises to turn every Thursday evening into a not-to-be-missed event: it is the Matrioska Music Festival, a musical event designed to liven up the old town centre and provide the public with an enthralling and free experience.

From May until October 2025 (with a break in August), every Thursday, the splendid Piazza Palmento will become the beating heart of music, hosting live concerts with free admission. The festival offers a sonic journey through jazz, classical, ethnic and opera, with programming that changes genre every week.

More than just a music festival, the festival is a broad and innovative cultural project, integrating music, intercultural education, active citizenship and territorial enhancement. An opportunity to meet and share, open to residents, tourists, families and students, with the aim of uniting generations and cultures in the name of beauty and sustainability. Matrioska is distinguished by its flexible and inclusive structure, capable of dialoguing with the territory and the Mediterranean, offering an experiential workshop of sounds, emotions and belonging every week.
