Markets in the Old Town

In the picturesque setting of the ancient village of Laino Castello, the Christmas Markets are back, an event that combines the magic of the festive season with the discovery of local traditions.

From 15 November to 7 December 2025, the historic centre comes alive with local craft markets, tastings of typical products and evenings enlivened by traditional music. Among the delicacies to savour are crespeddre and viscuttini, stufatu du contadino, patane and zafarane, frittuli and zafarane cruschi, dishes that symbolise the gastronomy of Pollino, accompanied by the warmth of Laino hospitality. An opportunity to experience autumn and the anticipation of Christmas amid authentic flavours, culture and conviviality, immersed in the enchanted atmosphere of one of Calabria's most characteristic villages.
