On Saturday 4 January 2025, the village of Marcedusa will come alive with ‘Lokal’, a festival celebrating the culture, traditions and flavours of the Arbëreshë territory. An opportunity to immerse oneself in the magic of the illuminations, discover unique artistic installations and let oneself be carried away by the travelling folk music.

Among the narrow streets of the village, visitors will be able to taste 0 km dishes in the Local Food District and admire works such as the giga-mural ‘L'Abbrazzu’ by Massimo Sirelli and the installation ‘U strittu’. An event that combines history, art and identity in an evocative atmosphere.
