A whole day dedicated to public archaeology, including exhibitions, experiential workshops and guided tours to discover the historical and cultural heritage of the Nocara area.
Programme
9 a.m. - “Epeo” Museum
Opening of the educational exhibition:
- The Archaeological Park of Presinace di Nocara
- Presentation of the Archaeological and Ethnoanthropological Museum of Nocara project
10:00 a.m. - Experiential archaeology workshops
- Working with coroplasts, stone tools, making jewellery and ancient games
- Reproductions of historical costumes, weapons and musical instruments of antiquity
11:30 a.m. - Guided tour of the Presinace Archaeological Park
- Excursion to the archaeological area
- Visit to the acropolis and the site of the "Weapons of Sant'Angelo"
