"Le Maschere e i Volti" is the winter review promoted by the Polis Cultura Association, an appointment held at the Francesco Cilea Theatre in Reggio Calabria. Over the years, numerous theatre companies have designated Polis Cultura as a valid point of reference for their tours.

The season opens with panache on 4-5 January with "Dove Eravamo Rimasti", starring Massimo Lopez and Tullio Solenghi accompanied by the Jazz Company directed by Maestro Gabriele Comeglio. A start to the year that promises to combine refined comedy and great music. Among the most eagerly awaited moments, on 18 January the Russian Classical Ballet will stage Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker", while on 14-15 March the theatre will be transformed into the magical world of "CATS", the famous musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, in the Italian adaptation by Massimo Romeo Piparo. The programme shines for the variety of the offer: from high level prose with "Il Fu Mattia Pascal" by Pirandello interpreted by Giorgio Marchesi, to the homage to Lucio Battisti in "Pensieri e Parole". The season finale offers two literary masterpieces: "Moby Dick" with Moni Ovadia and "La Buona Novella" with Neri Marcoré.

The shows, which will be held in the evocative setting of the Cilea Theatre, are scheduled at 21:00 for the evenings and at 17:00 for the afternoons.
