On Friday 20 December 2025, the UniCal Auditorium Theatre in Cosenza will host the last major event of the 2025 season with JazzAmore gospel music. The star of the evening will be Eric B. Turner, a world-renowned American artist, Grammy-nominated singer and voice capable of blending the soul of gospel with the vibrations of blues, R&B, funk and jazz.
Turner, a complete performer in singing, acting and composition, has collaborated with icons such as Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan and Mariah Carey and was the lead singer of the legendary Drifters, members of the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. His Grammy-nominated album It Ain't Easy is a powerful journey into the roots of African-American music.
Opening the evening will be Elisa Brown & Come Shine Gospel Choir, one of the most significant choral projects on the Calabrian scene, led by Elisa Brown together with Laura Amerise and Olivia Bruno, enriched by the voices of soloists Paolo Principe, Alessandro Chiappetta, Giulia Munno and Francesca Lombardo.
Turner will be accompanied on stage by an exceptional band: Francesco Capparelli on piano, Paolo Chiaia on organ, Danilo Curcio on guitar, Emanuele Gallo on bass and Domenico Sangiovanni on drums.
