Jazz Today

It was an extraordinary success for Jazz Today, which spread fascinating notes in the Lamezia Terme venue "Il Vecchio Mattatoio" and recorded a large audience presence and a very high level of appreciation by fans. The programme included a number of innovations: from the introduction of voices, with artists singing, to instrumental performances by the various groups.

The programme will continue in April and May with the following dates:

• 12 April 2024 at 21.30 - Serena Lionetto Trio,
• 26 April 2024 at 21.30 - Alessandra Chiarello Trio,
• 10 May 2024 at 21.30 - Diffusion Jazz Trio,
• 24 May 2024 at 21.30 - Egidio Ventura Latin 4tet. 

Opening the new programme will be the trio of Cosenza singer Serena Lionetto. Her warm and persuasive voice and bewitching stage presence will take us through a musical journey of international masterpieces with the Latin-American mood of Brazil as a common thread. It is a musical project that moves the audience in an unexpected way, beyond time, in a musical journey that seeks to take the listener around the world. Serena Lionetto will be accompanied by Rodolfo Capoderosa on guitar and Corrado Mendicino piano and keyboards, two excellent musicians also from Cosenza with an important musical background. Admission to the concert is free, but booking is appreciated.
