Isoland wine&food - Grape Festival

The two-day event focuses on Sant'Anna CDO wine and the experiences of Crotonese wineries. On the first day, there will be a round table on the theme: "Sant'Anna to restart: ideas and projects in the land of the historic Sant'Anna CDO" hosted in the Eraclea cinema theatre, where at the same time a wine tasting room with an olfactory table will be set up to allow visitors to test an innovative wine tasting technique using a computer and a touch screen monitor. At the end of the course, in which they will be accompanied by an oenologist, visitors will be able to try their hand at a series of multiple-choice questions, in order to win the Wine Tasting Ambassador certificate.

In the adjacent Piazza del Popolo, stands of local producers of wine and typical products will be set up for the two days, starting at 5 pm. At the same time, there will be wine tastings from around 20 wineries in the province that, with the support of sommeliers, will guide visitors on a journey to discover the wines from the Crotone area. Live music and entertainment will also be provided on both days by the Proloco of Isola Capo Rizzuto, which will stage, among others, the moment of crushing grapes.
