the Touch in Gerace

The event called "Il Tocco", a historical re-enactment, recounts the reconciliation between Roger I the Great Count, also known as "The Norman" and his brother Roberto il Guiscardo. The event provides for the realization of some days of celebration and medieval shows, as well as a cooking show on 22 August concerning the dishes and typical products of Gerace with a show of popular music. During the various days of the event, guided tours of the Norman cultural heritage of the city of Gerace will be organised, as well as naturalistic excursions in the company of the Grand Count Roger the Norman and tasting of typical products.
