Harmonies of Magna Graecia | An Evening with Mozart

More emotions under the stars with the Festival Armonie della Magna Graecia. On Tuesday 3 September 2024, the picturesque village of Tropea will once again be transformed into an exceptional stage for an evening of classical music, art and beauty. Palazzo S. Chiara will host ‘’An Evening with Mozart‘’ at 9.30 p.m. and the protagonists of the evening will be violinist Renato Donà and pianist Daniele Paolillo, two very talented performers who will take the public on a refined journey through the works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The musical programme includes the performance of four of the most important Sonatas for violin and piano by the genius from Salzburg, masterpieces that testify to his extraordinary ability to blend virtuosity and profound expressiveness. In particular: the Sonata in C major K 296, the Sonata in E minor K 304, the Sonata in G major K 379 and the Sonata in B flat major K 454. An exceptional marathon of Sonatas, constituting a ‘unicum’, an experience not to be missed that is part of the extensive programme that has thrilled the audience of the Costa degli Dei throughout the summer and will continue to combine music, environment and culture until the end of the year.
