From 28 August to 4 September 2025, the Savuto Valley will become an open-air creative workshop with the return of Gulìa Urbana, the street art festival that brings together villages, people and contemporary languages.
For seven days, the municipalities of Rogliano, Parenti, Marzi, Belsito and Mangone will welcome nationally and internationally renowned artists, ready to transform the streets into art galleries with original murals. Among the protagonists of this edition are Kraser, with his dreamlike visions, Lidia Cao and Murfin, who will intertwine graphic research and urban poetry. Rame 13, an original voice in contemporary muralism, will arrive in Belsito, while Edoardo Ettorre and Attorrep will create works that recount identity and landscape.
Not only visual art: the programme offers meetings, music and tastings. On Friday 29 August at 6.30 pm in Rogliano, there will be a conference on territorial development through art. On Saturday 30 August, the Villa Comunale will host “DiVino Savuto”, a tasting of Calabrian wines accompanied by live music, DJ sets and immersive installations.
On Monday 1 September, the Villetta dei Cani will be inaugurated in Via Vincenzo Gallo, a project that combines urban regeneration and attention to collective well-being. On Tuesday 2 September, at 6 pm, a tour of the murals will depart from Piazza Pietro Buffone, offering an opportunity to discover the works together with the artists. Every day, it will be possible to follow the creation of the murals along the streets of the villages, experiencing the magic of urban art first-hand.
